1 Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between You (the "User") and Ziksana ("Platform Provider", "we", "us"), as well as the Educational Institution ("School") providing you access.

These Terms govern your use of our software ecosystem, specifically:

  • Ziksana (Student App)
  • Ziksana Maestro (Staff App)
  • Ziksana Guardian (Parent App)
  • Ziksana Mobility (Transport App)
  • Ziksana Web (Web Portal)

By accessing any of these services, you agree to these Terms.

2 Relationship of Parties

  • Ziksana: We provide the software platform. We are responsible for the technical operation, uptime, and software maintenance.
  • The School: The School allows you access to the platform. They are responsible for the content, administrative policies, and management of user accounts.
  • The User: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and using the app in compliance with School policies.

3 User Accounts

  • Provisioning: Accounts are typically created by the School Administration.
  • Security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Notify your School immediately of any unauthorized use.
  • Termination: Your access is tied to your active status with the School. The School or Ziksana may revoke access if you leave the institution or violate these terms.

4 Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

Manipulate Attendance Falsify location data or biometric inputs.
Misuse Transport Interfere with the Ziksana Mobility tracking features.
Harass Users Bully, intimidate, or harm other students, staff, or drivers via the platform.
Hack or Scrape Attempt to reverse engineer the code or collect data unauthorizedly.

5 Intellectual Property

  • Platform IP: The Ziksana software, logo, and code are the property of Ziksana.
  • School Content: Course materials, assignments, and student records are the property of the School or the respective authors.

6 Payments

  • Processing: Fee payments made via Ziksana Guardian or Student are processed by third-party gateways (Stripe/Razorpay).
  • Responsibility: Ziksana facilitates the transaction but is not the merchant of record. The School is the merchant.
  • Refunds: All refund requests must be directed to The School Administration. Ziksana cannot process refunds directly.

7 Disclaimers & Liability

"As Is" Service

We provide the platform "as is". We do not guarantee it will be error-free 100% of the time.

Data Accuracy

We are not responsible for incorrect data entered by School staff (e.g., wrong grades, attendance errors). Disputes regarding records must be resolved with the School.
